Jason and Hannah Wulff-Woesten founded Freedom Awaits Inc in 2009, serving the local Memphis area through providing shelter in the form of low cost housing, food to people in need, funding for a school building for Levite's Academy in Uganda, and worship through their musical talents.

Freedom Awaits Inc Current Leadership: Pastor Gery Niess

Jason and Hannah have passed on the leadership responsibilities to Pastor Gery Niess and his wife Jill. Together with the Board of Directors they maintain the ministries both locally and internationally. Pastor Gery leads the Freedom Awaits Music band and has decades of worship pastor experience to draw from.
